WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior Lulu Rourke has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from September 22-28. Rourke helped lead the Holy Cross women’s ice hockey team to a perfect 2-0 record in a pair of contests against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute last week. 

During Friday’s 2-1 victory over the Engineers, Rourke put the Crusaders up 1-0 early in the second period when she knocked in a rebound on the power play. Then in Saturday’s 3-0 win over RPI, she tallied an assist on a goal by junior Reghan Chadwick in the third period.

Over the course of her collegiate career, Rourke has now totaled 18 points on nine goals and nine assists in 68 games played.

Holy Cross (2-0 overall) returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 4, when it travels to Delaware for a 2 p.m. game.
