WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman Ellie De Andrade of the Holy Cross women's golf team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for competition from Oct. 11 to 17.
De Andrade led Holy Cross to a second-place finish as a team at the Hawk Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 16 and Sunday, Oct. 17 in West Long Branch, N.J. Individually, De Andrade placed second, with a score of 154 (+10) over the two rounds. She finished with a 74 on Day 2 of competition.
The Crusaders posted a score of 641 (+65) over the two rounds, just behind team champion Monmouth, who finished with a score of 638. The Hawk Invitational concluded Holy Cross' fall slate.
