Holy Cross Athletics

WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomore Teddy Callery has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from March 24-30. Callery helped lead the Holy Cross men’s tennis team to a 4-2 victory over Boston University in its only match last week.

During Saturday’s win over the Terriers, Callery defeated Jonah Dickson 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 3 singles position. He was also set to team with junior Alessandro Bizzarri at No. 3 doubles, before earning the win by default. The match marked Holy Cross’ first victory over Boston University since joining the Patriot League.

On the year, Callery stands 9-9 in singles action and 4-8 in doubles. His nine singles victories so far this season are the most on the team. 

Holy Cross (5-7 overall, 3-2 Patriot League) returns to action on Wednesday, April 2, when it plays host to Clark at 3:30 p.m.
