Senior Mike Mazzocca of the Holy Cross men's track and field team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Nov. 27 – Dec. 3.

On Saturday, December 3, Mazzocca competed at the Alden Invitational hosted by Brown in the indoor season opener. He broke his own school record in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.98 to take first in the preliminary round of the event. He previously set the record last year at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational on February 12 in the 60m hurdles finals with a time of 8.02.

Mazzocca took second in the 60m hurdles final with a time of 8.05 and also competed in the high jump finishing in second place with a 1.97m mark.

The Holy Cross track and field teams will travel to Storrs, Conn. to compete in the Husky Challenge, hosted by UConn on Thursday Dec. 7 through Friday Dec. 8.
