• Opened the season at the Sam Howell Invitational (Mar. 30) breaking the school record in the 4x100m relay (previously he held) with a time of 41.37 to claim second place and finished third in the 110m hurdles (14.36)
• Set a personal best in the 100m (11.06, 22nd) and came in first in the 4x100m relay (41.89) at the UMass Flagship Spring Opener (Apr. 7)
• Broke his own school record in the 110m hurdles (14.06, first) at the UConn Northeast Challenge (Apr. 12)
• Won the 110m hurdles (14.20) and claimed second in the 4x100m relay (41.85) at Holy Invitational (Apr. 20)
• Took second in the 4x100m relay (41.63) at the Skyhawk Invitational (Apr. 27)
• Clinched second and the silver medal in the 110m hurdles (14.28) and placed fourth in the 4x100m relay (41.94) at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship (May 3-4)

AS A SENIOR IN 2023-24 INDOOR:

• Served as a track and field team captain
• Competed in five of the nine meets on the season
• Broke the school record in the 60m hurdles prelim (7.98, first), and took second in both the final (8.05) and the high jump (1.97m) at the Alden Invitational (Dec. 2) which earned him Crusader of the Week (Nov. 27-Dec. 3)
• Placed fourth in the 60m hurdles (8.02) at the Riverhawk Invitational (Jan. 27)
• Finished fifth in the 60m hurdles (8.05) at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational (Feb. 10)
• Broke the school 60m hurdles record again in back-to-back days of event first in the prelim (7.96, second) and then in the final (7.93, second) for the silver medal at the Patriot League Indoor Championship (Feb. 24-25)

AS A JUNIOR IN 2023 OUTDOOR:

• Competed in six of the nine meets on the season
• Won the 110m hurdles (14.51), an IC4A qualifying time, and claimed third in the high jump (1.90m) at the Bryant Black & Gold Invitational (Mar. 31-Apr. 1)
• Won the 110m hurdles (14.41) and the high jump (1.98m) at the George Mason Dalton Ebanks Invitational (Apr. 7-8)
• Broke the school record in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.19 for a second place finish at the UConn Northeast Challenge (Apr. 15)
• Broke the school record in the 4x100m relay (42.00, second) and took second in the 110m hurdles (14.37) at the Holy Cross Invitational (Apr. 22)
• Clinched second and the silver medal in the 110m hurdles (14.37) at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship (May 5-6)
• Claimed second and the silver in the 110m hurdles (14.25) at the NEICAAA Outdoor Championship (May 12-13)

AS A JUNIOR IN 2022-23 INDOOR:

• Competed in seven of the 10 meets on the season
• Won the high jump (2.06m) at the UMass Invitational (Jan. 15) which earned him Crusader of the Week (Jan. 10-16)
• Clinched second in the high jump (2.00m) at the dual meet with New Hampshire (Jan. 22)
• Claimed fourth in the 60m hurdles (8.21) and fourth in the high jump (2.00m) at the NEICAAA Indoor Championship (Feb. 2-3)
• Won the 60m hurdles (8.17) at the URI Coaches Invitational (Feb. 11)
• Finished fifth in the 60m hurdle (8.11) at the Patriot League Indoor Championship (Feb. 25-26)

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2022 OUTDOOR:

• Competed in four of the eight meets on the season
• Won the high jump (2.00m) at the Holy Cross Invitational (Apr. 23)
• Won the high jump (1.95m) at the Stonehill Skyhawk Invitational (Apr. 30)
• Finished seventh in the high jump (1.92m) at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship (May 6-7)

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2021-22 INDOOR:

• Competed in six of the seven meets on the season
• Won the 60m hurdles (8.21) and claimed third in the high jump (2.02m) at the Alden Invitational (Dec. 4)
• Clinched second in the high jump (2.05m) and third in the 60m hurdles (8.14) at the URI Invitational (Jan. 15)
• Claimed third and the bronze medal in the high jump (2.00m) at the NEICAAA Indoor Championship (Feb. 4-5)
• Took fourth in the 60m hurdles (8.02) and third in the high jump (2.01m) at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational (Feb. 11-12)
• Took second and the silver in the high jump (2.02m) and fourth in the 60m hurdles (8.03) at the Patriot League Indoor Championship (Feb. 26-27)
• Finished fifth in the high jump (2.01m) and eighth in the 60m hurdles (8.19) at the IC4A Indoor Championship (Mar. 4-6)

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2021 OUTDOOR:

• Competed in four of the seven meets on the season
• Won the high jump (2.00m) in the tri-meet with UMass and Merrimack (Mar. 26-27)
• Won the 110m hurdles (14.81) and the high jump (1.98m) against Stonehill (Apr. 18)
• Won the 110m hurdles (14.53) and high jump (2.07m) against Rhode Island (Apr. 21)
• Claimed third for the bronze medal in the 110m hurdles (14.58) and fifth in the high jump (1.93m) at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship (Apr. 30-May 1)
• Outdoor portion of season shortened due to COVID-19

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2020-21 INDOOR:

• Competed in one of the two meets on the season
• Won the 60m hurdles (8.52) and clinched second in the high jump (1.98m) at the Patriot League Challenge (Feb. 28)
• Indoor portion of season shortened and ran in the spring of 2021 due to COVID-19

BEFORE HOLY CROSS: 

• Three-year varsity member of track and field team at Xaverian Brothers under head coach Dave Palmieri, competing in high hurdles, high jump and triple jump
• Team captain in 2020
• Earned Coach’s Award as a junior and named team MVP as a senior
• Named a 2020 Tri-County League MVP and league All-Star
• Won league championship in high jump and hurdles as a senior, and was undefeated in both events leading up to championship
• Massachusetts Division 1 champion in high jump, while placing second in the event at the Massachusetts All-State Meet and third at New England Championships
• Placed fifth in the 55m hurdles at the Mass. Division 1 Meet
• Qualified in high jump for Emerging Elite Indoor Nationals, which were canceled due to COVID-19
• Also played two varsity seasons of soccer under head coach Garrett Bowers
• Earned academic honors all four years and was named to National Honor Society

PERSONAL: 

• His dad, Richard, ran track and field at New Hampshire (Class of '85)
• His uncle, Jay Gibbons played hockey at Holy Cross (Class of '69)
• His grandfather, James Gibbons is a Holy Cross alumn (Class of '46)
