WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman Kailee McCabe has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from Sept. 12-18. McCabe helped lead the Holy Cross women's soccer team to a 1-1 tie against American in its only game last week.

During the American game, McCabe scored the first goal of her collegiate career. She found the net with just 1:47 remaining in the second half off a pass from sophomore forward Ashley Blaka to knot up the score at 1-1 and earn the Crusaders a tie.

Holy Cross (0-5-4 overall, 0-0-1 Patriot League) returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 21, when it travels to Army West Point for a 6:00 p.m. game.
