Junior Christian Emmerich of the Holy Cross men’s golf team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for competition from April 25 to May 1.

Emmerich led the Crusaders at the Patriot League Championship, held at the Steel Club in Hellertown, Pa., from April 29 to May 1. He placed fifth with a score of 218 (+2) over the three rounds, and earned All-Patriot League first team honors.

Emmerich is only the ninth Holy Cross golfer to earn first team honors in school history, and the first since Steve Zychowski did so in 2011. 

As a team, Holy Cross finished in sixth place at the Patriot League Championship.
