AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2020-21:

• Did not compete.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019-20:

• Played all 17 of the team’s rounds on the year.
• Led the squad with an average of 74.2 strokes per 18 holes, the second-lowest single-season mark in program history.
• Had a team-best 16th place finish at the Dartmouth Invitational, with 142 strokes over two rounds.
• Came in sixth at the Lehigh Invitational with a two-round total of 147, while helping Holy Cross to the team title.
• Led the team by placing 38th overall at the Martin Downs Collegiate, totaling 220 strokes in three rounds.
• Finished 17th a two-round total of 147 at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate.
• Had a 49th-place finish at the Doc Gimmler with a three-round total of 222 strokes.
• Shot a season-low round of 70 on three different occasions.
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
• Season concluded on March 12 due to COVID-19.
• Placed fourth at the New England Amateur Championship in the summer of 2020, totaling 211 strokes over three rounds.

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:

• A two-time Division 3 individual state high school champion in 2017 and 2018
• Named the Boston Globe boys’ golf Athlete of the Year in 2017 and 2018
• A three-time All-Scholastic selection by the Boston Herald
• Earned Catholic Central League MVP honors as a senior, while being a four-time league all-star
• Placed 45th at the 2019 Boys Junior PGA Championship
• Qualified for the 2019 U.S. Amateur Championship
• Named to the Boston Herald's MIAA Eastern Mass. Boys Golf All-Decade Team for the 2010s
• Champion of the 2018 Bay State Cup Invitational, shooting scores of 70, 70 and 72
• Won the 2018 Hartford Junior Classic by four strokes, shooting scores of 73 and 73

PERSONAL:

• Son of David and Kim Emmerich.
• Has two brothers (Max and Aidan) and one sister (Gretchen).
• Brother, Max, plays golf at Salem State University, and previously played at McDaniel College.
• Majoring in economics.
