Holy Cross Athletics

Sophomore Grace Ryan of the Holy Cross women’s track and field team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Mar. 31 – Apr. 6.

Ryan broke the 17-year-old javelin school record with a mark of 41.04m to clinch second in the event. The previous record (40.39m) was set by Chantal Couture '10 on April. 19, 2008 at the Holy Cross Invitational. She helped the Crusaders to a third-place finish at the UMass Flagship Spring Opener on Apr. 5.

The Holy Cross track and field teams will return to action for the Friar Invitational hosted by Providence in Providence, R.I. on Apr. 11 at the Ray Treacy Track at Hendricken Field.
