ITHACA, N.Y. - The no. 21 Holy Cross men's rowing team faced no. 8 Penn in a head-to-head battle Friday afternoon at Cayuga Lake.

The varsity 8+ finished with the second-fastest time of the day, posting a 5:52.0, seven seconds behind Penn. The second varsity 8+ posted a time of 6:12.2.

The third varsity 8+ recorded a time of 6:06.1, and the fourth varsity 8+ posted a 6:22.2.

Men's rowing will return to Cayuga Lake tomorrow, Saturday, May 2, to face no. 13 Cornell and no. 25 Oregon State.
