GOLD RIVER, Calif. - The Holy Cross men's rowing team competed in heat racing at the IRA National Championship Friday on Lake Natoma.

The varsity 8+ finished fifth in heat three with a time of 5:57.230, defeating MIT. The varsity 8+ will move on to the CD semifinal tomorrow at 9:36 a.m. PDT.

The second varsity 8+ finished fourth in its heat with a time of 5:59.270, defeating Navy and Oregon St. Tomorrow, the second varsity 8+ will compete in the CD semifinal at 10:00 a.m. PDT.

The third varsity 8+ finished fifth in its heat with a time of 6:07.860, and will faceoff tomorrow in the CD semifinal at 10:16 a.m. PDT

The varsity 4+ finished 29th in the time trial with a time of 6:45.280, and will compete in the DE semifinal tomorrow at 4:32 p.m. PDT.
