Holy Cross Athletics

• Competed in three fall events.
  • Finished fourth in the Collegiate 8+ with the 3rd Varsity 8+ at the Head of the Snake (10/5).
  • Finished fifth in the Collegiate 8+ with the 3rd Varsity 8+ at the Wormtown Chase (10/26).
  • Competed in the Men's 8+ with the 3rd Varsity 8+ at the Princeton Chase (11/3).
• Competed in six spring races with the 3rd Varsity 8+
  • Defeated MIT (3/29), finished first at the Schuylkill Invitational (4/12), finished second against Boston University, Marist, Hobart, and Temple (4/19), and finished sixth in the petite final at the Eastern Sprints (5/18).
  • Competed against Cornell (5/2) and Oregon and Penn (5/3).
• Named an Empacher-IRCA Scholar Athlete.

2023-2024 (Sophomore):

• Competed with the fourth varsity 8+ at the Princeton Chase (11/5).
• Competed in six spring races with the third varsity eight.
  • Defeated MIT's second varsity 8+ at the Alumni Cup (3/30), finished fourth at the Occoquan Invitational (4/14), second in home invitational against no.13 Boston U., no. 22 Temple, Marist, and Hobart (4/20), competed against no. 8 Pennsylvania and no. 14 Cornell (5/3), no. 22 Oregon St. (5/4), and at the Eastern Sprints (5/19).

• Competed in three fall events with the third varsity eight.
  • Placed eighth at the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta (10/15), third at the Wormtown Chase Regatta (10/29) and 33rd at the Princeton Chase Regatta (11/6).
• Competed in all nine spring races.
  • Raced with the third varsity eight at the Alumni Cup (4/1), Occoquan Invitational (4/9), and against St. Joe's (4/22).
  • Helped the fourth varsity eight to a second-place finish at the New England Championship (5/6).

• Three-year member of the varsity rowing team at St. John's High School under head coach Greg Kostiw.
• Served as team captain for the 2021-22 season.
• Won a gold medal at the 2021 New Hampshire Championships.
• Named to Headmaster's List in 2022.

• Son of Sven and Christine Vieten.
