WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross men's rowing junior Grant Pittaro was named to the Empacher-IRCA All-America Second Team, as announced by the IRCA.

A member of the first varsity 8+ this year, Pittaro helped the Crusaders to numerous record-setting performances. In the fall, Pittaro was a member of the boat that won the Head of the Charles for the first time in program history, as well as wins at the Head of the Snake and Wormtown Chase. In the spring, Pittaro helped the first boat to an 18th-place finish at the IRA National Championship and a 19th-place team finish, both top marks for Holy Cross since 2015.

Pittaro was one of 106 rowers and coxswains to be named an All-American. The full list of honorees and criteria to be selected can be found on the IRCA website.
