WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross senior goaltender
Brooke Loranger has been named the Stop It Goaltending Goaltender of the Month by Hockey East.
During the month of January, Loranger went 3-0-1 with a 1.47 goals against average and a .951 save percentage. She did not allow more than two goals in any game, while posting a season-high 42 saves at Northeastern on Jan. 29.
On the year, Loranger now stands 7-2-1 with a 1.50 goals against average and a .939 save percentage. Over the course of her collegiate career, she owns a 2.49 goals against average with 1,119 saves and three shutouts.
Currently ranked No. 13 in the nation, Holy Cross (18-8-2 overall, 10-7-3 Hockey East) returns to action on Friday, Feb. 6, when it plays host to Boston College at 2 p.m.
