WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross freshman defender
Anna Billa has been selected to compete for the Austrian National Team at the 2026 Wörthersee Trophy, a six-nation tournament in which Austria, Denmark, Hungary, Norway, Slovakia and Switzerland will compete. Billa was one of 24 players named to Austria's roster for the event, which will take place from Feb. 5-8 in Klagenfurt, Austria.
Billa has made 16 career appearances for the Austrian National Team over the last five years, tallying one assist.
Currently in her first season with the Crusaders, Billa has played in 26 games for Holy Cross, helping the team to an 18-8-2 record. She has three assists on the year.
Austria's game schedule for the tournament is as follows (all times local):
Feb. 5, Austria vs. Switzerland, 7:15 p.m.
Feb. 6, Austria vs. Denmark, 7:15 p.m.
Feb. 8, Placement Games, TBA
