WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross freshman forward Archie Hatcher has been named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week, for competition from September 8-14. 

During Saturday's 1-1 tie at Navy in the Patriot League opener, Hatcher scored the Crusaders' only goal of the game. He found the net in the 68th minute to put Holy Cross up 1-0, knocking home a rebound after a shot by junior midfielder Adric Rosato had been saved.

On the season, Hatcher ranks third on the team in scoring with three points on one goal and one assist.

Holy Cross (1-3-2 overall, 0-0-1 Patriot League) returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 17, when it travels to Stonehill for a 4 p.m. game.
