Holy Cross adds Ebanks to men’s soccer coaching staff

WORCESTER, Mass. – The College of the Holy Cross has named Shane Ebanks an assistant men's soccer coach, as announced by head coach Matt Brown. Ebanks will be heavily involved with all facets of the program, including skill instruction, game preparation and recruiting.

"I'm delighted to have Coach Shane join our staff," said Brown. "He will be a great addition to the team."

Ebanks comes to Holy Cross from Emmanuel College, where he served as an assistant coach from 2021-2024. He helped lead the Saints to winning records in three of his four years on the staff, with Emmanuel advancing to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference semifinals twice. Ebanks has worked numerous clinics and camps with Next Step Sports Academy and Worcester Academy, in addition to coaching with Mendon-Upton Youth Soccer.

In 2021, Ebanks earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Bridgewater State University, where he was a member of the men's soccer team. During his junior season, he started all 20 games for the Bears, totaling seven points on two goals and three assists.
