WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's rowing team competed at the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond Sunday, placing 13^th in the Rowe Cup.
 
HEAT RESULTS:

• The varsity eight finished fifth in heat three with a time of 6:05.488.
• The second varsity eight finished in fifth in the third heat with a time of 6:21.657.
• The third varsity eight finished in fourth in heat one with a time of 6:02.037, defeating navy by almost three seconds.
• The fourth varsity eight finished in seventh in heat one with a time of 6:16.632.

 
FINALS RESULTS:

• The varsity eight finished third in the third final with a time of 5:57.781.
• The second varsity eight finished third in the third final with a time of 6:10.498.
• The third varsity eight finished in sixth in the petite final with a time of 6:09.739
• The fourth varsity eight finished in seventh in the petite final with a time of 6:16.256.
• The varsity four and second varsity four finished in third and fourth with times of 7:19.234 and 7:30.295, respectively.

• Men's rowing will travel to Camden, N.J. for the IRA National Championship May 30 – June 1.
