WORCESTER, Mass. — Holy Cross men's ice hockey senior
Matt DeBoer has been named the Atlantic Hockey America Forward of the Month for November, the league offices announced Monday morning.
DeBoer was a stalwart on offense as the Crusaders' finished November with a 6-1-0 record. DeBoer found himself on the box score in all but two games, finishing the month with 12 points on six goals and six assists. DeBoer recorded three multi-point games - while also becoming just the third player in Atlantic Hockey this season to record a hat trick, which he did against then-No. 8 Quinnipiac on Nov. 26.
DeBoer's eight goals and 16 points this season are tied for second in Atlantic Hockey, while his eight assists sit in a tie for seventh and his three game-winning goals are tied for the league lead. His +11 rating this season trails only teammate
Jack Seymour in the Atlantic Hockey rankings, and he is just one of three players this season in the league to record a hat trick. DeBoer was previously named Forward of the Week on Nov. 11 after his four point effort in the weekend sweep of Niagara on Nov. 7 and 8.
The Crusaders (9-6-1, 7-1-1 AHA) will round out their first half schedule on Saturday, Dec. 6 when they welcome Mercyhurst to the Hart Center Rink for a 2 p.m. matchup. Tickets to the game are available at
