WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's rowing team opened its season at the Head of the Snake Saturday morning at Lake Quinsigamond.
 
RESULTS:

• The varsity 4+ won the Collegiate 4+ with a time of 15:40.4, exactly ten seconds ahead of second-place Connecticut College.
• The varsity 8+ won the Collegiate 8+ with a time of 12:55.9, just under eight seconds ahead of second-place MIT. The second varsity 8+ finished third with a 13:24.9, the third varsity 8+ came in seventh with a 13:50.4, and the fourth varsity 8+ finished tenth in the 20-boat field with a 14:09.6.
   

WHAT'S NEXT:

• Holy Cross will travel to Boston, Mass. on Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19 for the Head of the Charles.
