WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's rowing team swept the events they entered on Saturday at the Wormtown Chase on Lake Quinsigamond, registering wins in the Collegiate 8+ and Collegiate 4+.

All four of the Crusaders' Collegiate 8+ placed in the top-11 in the 24-boat field. The Varsity 8+ - coming off a win at the Head of the Charles - took the top spot with a 14:53.8, nearly 12 seconds ahead of second-place MIT.

The 2nd Varsity 8+ finished fourth with a 15:21.8, the 3rd Varsity 8+ ninth with a 16:08.6, and the 4th Varsity 8+ finished eleventh with a 16:19.0.

The Varsity 4+ won the 11-boat Collegiate 4+ field with a time of 18:39.7, exactly 11 seconds ahead of second-place Coast Guard.
 
Men's rowing will round out their fall schedule on Sunday, Nov. 2 when they travel to Princeton, N.J. for the Princeton Chase.
