BOSTON, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's rowing team won the collegiate 8+, placed seventh and 21st in the club 8+, and tenth in the club 4+ at the Head of the Charles on the Charles River over the weekend.
The collegiate 8+ placed first in the 42-boat field at the historic event with a time of 14:25.533, 13 seconds ahead of second-place Tufts.

In the club 8+, the Crusaders' second varsity 8+ finished with a time of 14:50.582, placing them seventh in the 36-boat field, while the third varsity 8+ finished 21st with a time of 15:45.089.
The club 4+ finished tenth with a time of 17:11.095.
Men's rowing will return to action on Oct. 25 for the Wormtown Chase at home at Lake Quinsigamond.
