Declan O'Flynn both won their singles matches, but the Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Assumption 5-2 at the Assumption Tennis Courts. The Crusaders fall to 1-4 on the season, while the Greyhounds improve to 6-10 overall.
DOUBLES ACTION:
• Assumption claimed the doubles point with wins at both the No. 1 and No. 2 spots.
• At No. 3 doubles, junior
Jeremy Clark and junior
Diego Tran Rosado defeated Bernardo Balancho and Alec Pijnacker 6-4.
SINGLES PLAY:
• At the No. 4 position, O'Flynn downed Luigi Bassani 6-1, 6-4.
• Illanes earned a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Bernardo Balancho at No. 5 singles.
• But the Greyhounds won the remaining four singles matches to claim the overall victory.

• Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, March 16, when it plays host to Colgate at 12 p.m.
