BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Holy Cross men's tennis team had a pair of representatives at the Patriot League Intercollegiate Tennis Association Masters Qualifier Friday on the campus of Lehigh University.

SINGLES ACTION:

• Senior Patrick Ling and junior Matt Carlson earned byes and advanced into the second round.
• Ling was downed 6-3, 7-5 by Kosei Ogata of Lehigh.
• Carlson suffered a 6-2, 6-4 setback to Bucknell's Adamantios Stavrakas.

DOUBLES PLAY:

• The duo also had a bye for the first round of doubles action.
• They suffered a tie break loss, 8-7 (7-2) to Jeffrey Etterbeek and Herrick Legaspi of Navy.
