NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Holy Cross men's tennis team traveled to Yale to participate in the 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association New England Regional at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
 
SINGLES ACTION:

• Sophomore Ezequiel De la Plaza was defeated by Varun Verman of Yale 6-3, 2-6, 3-6 in the first round of the main draw.
• Senior Patrick Ling earned a victory in the qualifying draw upending Brown's Alexander Bravo 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-1).  
• Ling then suffered a 2-6, 2-6 setback to Matthew Carioscia of Boston College in the second round.

CONSOLATION ROUND:

• Junior Teddy Callery (6-1, 6-1) and classmate, Matt Carlson (6-1, 7-5) earned victories in the qualifying draw consolation round

DOUBLES PLAY:

• Freshman Aayush Jhaveri and Callery fell to Felipe Pinzon and Petar Teodorovic of Cornell, 8-0 in the first round.
• Freshman Colton Parker and sophomore Will Donnelly also competed in the opening round of doubles action and were downed 8-3 by Quinnipiac's Carlos Braun Simo and Elias Hoxha.

NEXT UP:

• Holy Cross returns to action for the Patriot League ITA Masters Qualifier from Oct. 24-26 in Bethlehem, Pa.
