Women’s basketball names 2024-25 team captains

Holy Cross women's basketball interim head coach Candice Green has named senior Lindsay Berger and junior Kaitlyn Flanagan captains and senior Grace Munt and junior Simone Foreman defensive captains for the upcoming 2024-25 campaign.

"Lindsay and Flanny were voted by every player and coach on this team," said Green. "Both of them are extremely committed to this program and our growth. They understand the discipline, accountability and emotional intelligence that comes with being a leader. With two championships under their belt, we have no doubt in their ability to lead this team."

"Grace and Simone will be taking on new but exciting titles this year," Green stated. "A defensive captain's primary responsibility will be to maintain our standards when it comes to our defensive points of emphasis. Both Simone and Grace recognize the importance of communication, discipline, and urgency when it comes to maintaining a championship level defense."

All four Crusader student-athletes are first time leaders for the program and bring a wealth of big game experience with back-to-back Patriot League tournament championships (2023, 2024) and an NCAA Tournament win (2024 NCAA First Four vs. UT Martin).
