The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team hits the road this week, making the short trip to Boston University for a 5:00 p.m. game on Wednesday, March 29.
The Turnpike Trophy:
• Throughout the 2022-2023 academic year, Holy Cross and Boston University will be competing for the Turnpike Trophy.
• This athletic series between the in-state Patriot League rivals awards points for all head-to-head victories in both the regular season and postseason, with the Turnpike Trophy going to the school which accumulates the most points at the end of the year.
• Entering this week, the Crusaders and the Terriers are tied with seven wins each in this year's competition.
Things to Know About the Crusaders (3-7, 0-2 PL):
• Holy Cross stands 3-7 overall this year with an 0-2 mark in the Patriot League. The Crusaders have dropped their first two conference games of the season to No. 13 Army West Point and American.
• Junior
Lauren Drillock scored five goals against No. 25 UMass, while tallying a career-high eight points on six goals and two assists in the win over Bryant. She currently leads the team in scoring with 36 points on 35 goals and 11 assists, while scoring at least one goal in every game. Over the course of her career as a Crusader, Drillock has now totaled 45 goals and 12 assists for 57 points in 27 games played.
• Senior
Henna Brennan tallied two goals and one assist during Saturday's game with American. She previously scored three goals against Quinnipiac, while recording three goals and one assist against Bryant. Brennan is currently tied for sixth on the team in scoring with 15 points on 11 goals and four assists. In her collegiate career, she now has 14 goals and four assists for 18 points.
• Sophomore
Sally Zinsner scored three goals against Harvard, after recording four points on three goals and one assist during the win over Long Island. Previously against Stonehill, she tallied a career-high four goals and one assist for five points. On the year, Zinsner stands second on the team in scoring with 15 goals and five assists for 20 points.
• Sophomore
Ella Kittredge is third on the team in scoring with 16 goals and three assists for 19 points. She scored a career-best four goals in the win over Stonehill, after previously tallying three goals and one assist against both Bryant and Fairfield. In her career, Kittredge now has 35 points on 30 goals and five assists.
• Senior
Christine Fabrizi set a career high with three goals scored against Fairfield, then recorded two goals and one assist in the victory at Bryant. In 34 career games played, she now has 33 points on 25 goals and eight assists.

Charlotte Wittstock are serving as the Crusaders' captains this season.
Scouting the Terriers (6-3, 1-2 PL):
• Boston University has an overall record of 6-3 on the season, with a 1-2 mark in the Patriot League. The Terriers have lost three of their last four games, including a 15-1 setback against No. 9 Loyola on Saturday.
• Senior Jennifer Barry leads the team in scoring with 30 points on 15 goals and 15 assists, while senior Claire Gola has added 22 goals and seven assists for 29 points.
• Junior Reilly Agres has started eight games in goal for Boston University this year, posting a 9.10 goals against average with 65 saves.
Series History:
• This will be the 16th meeting between Holy Cross and Boston University, with the Terriers leading all-time series 13-2.
• Holy Cross and Boston University last met on March 30, 2022, when the Crusaders posted a 19-12 victory in Worcester.
Isabela Miller finished the game with six points on five goals and one assist, while
Jolie Creo and
Jenna Giardina added three goals each.
