HAMILTON, N.Y. – Junior
Annabel Brennan and sophomore
Hadley Cepiel both scored three goals, as the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team posted a 17-13 victory over Colgate at Andy Kerr Stadium. The Crusaders improve to 5-6 overall and 3-1 in the Patriot League, while the Raiders fall to 4-6 on the season and 2-2 in the conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Holy Cross started the game hot, jumping out to a 6-1 lead after the first quarter of action.
• The Crusaders increased their lead to six (9-3) in the second quarter, before Colgate scored three straight goals to get back into the game.
• Holy Cross led 10-6 at halftime, and would maintain a small lead throughout the second half.
• The Raiders were able to trim the deficit to two on several occasions, but could get no closer as the Crusaders eventually pulled out a 17-13 win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Jenn Prince and senior
Tory Rider both had two goals and one assist on the day.
• Senior
Racheli Levy-Smith totaled 12 draw controls, four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
• Senior
Mackenzie Creagh made 11 saves in net.
• Colgate was led by Ella Bishara with six goals.

• Holy Cross will return to action on Saturday, April 4, when it plays host to Bucknell at 12 p.m.
