WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross field hockey team has named 16 athletes to the Fall 2022 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference on Tuesday. Leading the Crusaders was senior midfielder
Isabella Henderson, who was named to the Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time in her collegiate career.
Four Crusaders made their third appearance on the Academic Honor Roll in seniors goalkeeper
Emma Lauber and defensman
Gabby Venezia, and juniors defensemen
Haley Davis and
Meaghan Noone. Sophomore forward
Lydia Oliver was the lone Crusader named for the second time in her career. The ten Crusaders that were named for the first time in their careers were senior forward
Rachel Perry, junior goalkeeper
Brooke Ross, junior midfielder
Ryleigh McComas, junior forward
Allie McDonough, sophomore forward
Meggan Fourie, sophomore forward
Molly Vinton, freshman midfielder
Julia Carrozza, freshman defenseman
Izzy van der Spuy, freshman forward
Coley Leo, and freshman midfielder
Kendall Blomquist.
A total of 128 field hockey student-athletes from around the Patriot League were named to this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have earned a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the fall semester.
