BOSTON, Mass.— The Holy Cross men's track and field team completed its first day at the New England Indoor Championship on Thursday. 

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

• Seniors Kyle VanDermark (2:31.33) and Jack Welch (2:31.83) qualified for the finals in the 1000m.
• Sophomore Stephen Joseph claimed a season best in the 800m with a time of 1:57.97. 

NEXT UP:

• The Crusaders will return to action on Friday, Feb. 3 as they resume competition at the New England Indoor Championship.
