CAREER HONORS:

• Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22).
• Set the school record in the distance medley relay at the IC4A Indoor Championship (3/5/23).

2022-23 INDOOR (SENIOR):

• Earned 12th in the mile at the UMass Invite.
• Finished second in the 1000m against New Hampshire.
• Placed 7th in the mile at the Riverhawk Invitational.
• Set a personal best in the 1000m at the NEICAAA Indoor Championship with a time of 2:30.59, placing fourth.
• Won the 800m at the URI Coaches Invitational.
• Set a personal best in the mile at the Patriot League Championship with a time of 4:12.48.
• Helped distance medley relay set the school record at the IC4A Indoor Championships with a time of 9:57.54, placing sixth. 

2022 OUTDOOR (JUNIOR):

• Finished tenth in the 1500m at the UMass Invitational.
• Set a personal best in the 1500m (3:58.08) at the War Eagle Invitational.
• Placed fourth in the 1500m and 4x400m at the Holy Cross Invitational.
• Set a personal best in the 800m (1:57.18) at the Stonehill Skyhawk Invitational.
• Helped 4x800 relay finish eighth at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship.

2021-22 INDOOR (JUNIOR):

• Set a personal best in the 1000m (2:37.99) and helped 4x800 relay place first against New Hampshire.
• 4x800 relay finished fifth at the NEICAAA Indoor Championship.
• Set a personal best in the mile (4:26.18) at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational.

2021 OUTDOOR (SOPHOMORE):

• Placed 20th in the 1500 meters (4:09.44) at the Patriot League Championship (4/30). 
• Ran personal best times in the 800 meters (2:02.44) and 1500 meters (4:07.89) against Rhode Island (4/21).  
• Outdoor portion of season shortened due to COVID-19.

2020-21 INDOOR (SOPHOMORE):

• Did not compete. 
• Indoor portion of season shortened and ran in the spring of 2021 due to COVID-19.

2020 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN):

• Outdoor portion of season canceled due to COVID-19.
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2019-20 INDOOR (FRESHMAN):

• Ran the 3,000m at the Patriot League Championship, finishing in a time of 9:22.36 (2/29).
• Had a season-best time of 8:47.64 in the 3,000m at the BU Valentine Invite (2/15).
• Placed ninth in the 3,000m at the URI Coaches Tribute, running a time of 9:00.94 (2/8).
• Recorded a time of 8:57.67 in the 3,000m at the BU Terrier Classic (1/25).

• Member of varsity indoor and outdoor track and field teams at Arlington under Stephen Arnett.
• Two-time All-League, All-County and All-Section selection for indoor track in 2018 and 2019.
• Named All-State selection in 2019 for indoor track.
• Helped lead team to three straight league and county indoor championships between 2017 and 2019.
• Team won section championship for indoor season in 2019.
• Part of 4x800 meter team that placed fourth at NYS championship meet in 2019.
• Indoor personal bests include 2:37.33 in 1,000m and a 2:00.11 800m split.
• Won team’s Coaches Award for indoor season in 2018 and outdoor season in 2019.
• Two-time All-League, All-County and All-Section selection for outdoor track in 2018 and 2019.
• Named All-State selection in 2019 for outdoor track.
• Helped lead team to four straight league and county outdoor championships between 2016 and 2019.
• Team also won outdoor section championship in 2019.
• Part of 4x800 meter relay team that placed third at NYS outdoor championship and 11^th at New Balance Nationals in 2019.
• Outdoor personal bests include 4:30.79 in mile and 1:59.05 in 800m split.
• Played three varsity seasons of soccer as a center back under Craig Sanborn, serving as team captain in 2018.
• All-League selection in 2017 and 2018.
• Team won league titles in 2016 and 2017.
• Member of National Honor Society and Italian Honor Society.

• Son of Thomas and Cindy VanDermark.
• Father played basketball at SUNY Geneseo.
• Has one brother (Jake) and one sister (Brianna).
• Major is undecided.
