The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team returns to action on Sunday, Feb. 19, when it travels to UMass Lowell for a 1:00 p.m. game.
Things to Know About the Crusaders (1-1):
• Holy Cross stands 1-1 so far this year, and is coming off a 20-14 victory at Bryant on Wednesday.
• Junior
Lauren Drillock tallied a career-high eight points on six goals and two assists during the win over Bryant. Over the course of her career as a Crusader, she has now totaled 27 goals and three assists for 30 points in 20 games played.
• Sophomore
Ella Kittredge is tied for second on the team in scoring with six goals and two assists for eight points. She recorded three goals and one assist against both Bryant and Fairfield, and now has 24 points on 20 goals and four assists in her collegiate career.
• Senior
Christine Fabrizi set a career high with three goals scored against Fairfield, then recorded two goals and one assist in the victory at Bryant. In 26 career games played, she now has 23 points on 18 goals and five assists.
• Sophomore
Isabela Miller is tied for second on the squad in scoring with eight points on three goals and five assists. In the Bryant game, she tallied one goal and a career-best four assists for five points. Miller now has 43 points on 31 goals and 12 assists in her career, with nine multi-goal games.
• Fabrizi and senior
Charlotte Wittstock are serving as the Crusaders' captains this season.
Scouting the River Hawks (1-1):
• UMass Lowell has an overall record of 1-1 so far this season. The River Hawks defeated Merrimack 13-7 while falling to No. 23 Massachusetts 16-7.
• Senior Molly Shaw leads the River Hawks with six goals scored so far this year. In 38 career games played, she now has 58 goals and four assists for 62 points.
• Freshman Hannah Shaddock has started both games in goal for UMass Lowell, making 21 saves with an 11.50 goals against average.
Series History:
• This will be only the fourth meeting between Holy Cross and UMass Lowell, with the Crusaders leading the all-time series 2-1.
• The Crusaders and the River Hawks last met on Feb. 18, 2022, when Holy Cross posted a 13-6 victory in Worcester.
Jolie Creo recorded four goals and one assist, while
Grace Flink made 11 saves in goal.
