WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross senior defender Cerys Balmer has been named Third Team All-Patriot League, as announced by the league on Friday. This is the second year in a row earning this honor.

Balmer started in 15 of the 15 contests she appeared in during the 2023 season as a key member of the backline for the Crusaders. This year she became the teams leading scorer netting four goals, earning eight points on the season. She scored in four of the first six competitions of the season. The captain was a consistent presence and leader on the field as she tallied 1,299 minutes of game action. She played a full 90 minutes in every game but two.

Holy Cross concluded its 2023 campaign with an overall record of 5-7-5 and a 2-4-3 mark in Patriot League play.
