WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's soccer team hosted Bucknell on Saturday afternoon for the Alumnae Day game. The Crusaders battled to a 1-1 tie with the Bison.

IN GOAL:

• Holy Cross: Aubrey Haesche (T, 3-2-4), five saves
• Bucknell: Reese Dolan (T, 3-2-3), four saves

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Midway through the first half, junior captain Karenna Beckstein served up a corner kick into the box that found fifth-year midfielder Sam Halligan, who netted her second goal of the season at 22:51.
• Each team had three shots apiece while the Bison led the Crusaders 7-1 in corners through 45 minutes. 
• The Bison equalized at 59:44 in the second half with a goal by Gaby Parker to pull out the 1-1 tie with the Crusaders.
• Holy Cross led Bucknell 14-5 in shots while the Bison had the advantage in corners (7-3) and shots on goal (6-5) to conclude the game.

UP NEXT:

• The Crusaders (3-4-4, 0-0-2) will travel to Hamilton, N.Y., to take on Colgate (4-3-4, 1-0-1) on Wednesday, Oct. 1, for a 12:00 pm kickoff at Beyer-Small '76 Field.
