HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Holy Cross women's soccer team traveled to Colgate for a Patriot League night game at Beyer-Small '76 Field. In the final minutes, the Raiders stole the 1-0 victory over the Crusaders.

IN GOAL:

• Holy Cross: Aubrey Haesche (L, 3-3-4), six saves
• Colgate: Ella Poppinga (W, 5-3-4), four saves

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Neither team scored in the first half.
• The Raiders led the Crusaders 10-4 in shots and 3-0 in corners through 45 minutes.
• With just six minutes left in the final half, the Raiders' Ava McCloskey netted the game-winner at 84:35.
• Colgate led Holy Cross 20-6 in shots, 7-4 in shots on goal and 7-0 in corners to conclude the game. 

UP NEXT:

• The Crusaders (3-5-4, 0-1-2) return home to host Navy (8-4-0, 1-1-0) on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 1:00 pm for their Breast Cancer Awareness game at Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium in Worcester, Mass.
