WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's rowing team had three boats take part in the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond, where they faced off against some of the top teams in the region. 

In the varsity eight, the Crusaders placed sixth in their morning heat (7:05.148), before coming in fourth in the third-level final (7:40.806). Brown won the event with a time of 6:39.857 in the grand final.

The Holy Cross second varsity eight had a sixth-place finish in its morning heat (7:32.336), then came in fourth in the third-level final (8:01.703). Brown took first place in the grand final in a time of 6:46.667.

The Crusader varsity four came in sixth in its morning heat (8:38.160), before recording a fourth-place finish in the third-level final (8:50.336). Brown had another first-place finish in the event's grand final (7:25.925).

The Crusaders will return to action when they take part in the Patriot League Championship on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J., on Friday, May 13.
