Honors & Awards:
Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2022)
2022-2023 (Sophomore):
- Competed in six spring races.
- Won the grand final at the Jesuit Invitational (3/25) and the petite final at the New England Championship (5/6) with the third varsity eight.
- Placed first at the Manhattan Regatta (4/2), and third against Rhode Island, Sacred Heart, and Bucknell (4/15) with the second varsity four.
- Finished third at the Christensen-Irving Cup (4/6) with the varsity four 'B' and at the Colgate Regatta (4/22) with the varsity four 'A'.Â
2021-2022 (Freshman):
- Competed in three fall events.
- Member of the varsity four that placed 10th at the Head of the Riverfront (10/3).
- Helped the club four to a 38th place finish at the Head of the Charles (10/23).
- Finished eighth with the second varsity eight at the Wormtown Chase Regatta (10/30).
- Competed in all six spring events, once with the varsity eight and five times with the second varsity eight.
- Raced to a first-place finish in the B final with the second varsity eight at the Jesuit Invitational (3/26)
- Finished fourth in the third-level final with the second varsity eight at the Eastern Sprints (5/1).
- Helped the second varsity eight to a second-place finish in the petite final at the Patriot League Championship (5/13).
- Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
BEFORE HOLY CROSS:
- A member of the varsity rowing team for head coach Laura Darby McNally at the Middlesex School in Concord, Mass.
- Part of a boat that went undefeated during her sophomore season.
- Placed fourth at the New England Interscholastic Rowing Association regatta.
- Also a member of the varsity field hockey and ice hockey teams.
- Served as a team captain in both rowing and ice hockey.
PERSONAL:
- Daughter of Sean and Gretchen Murphy.
- Has one brother (Jack) and one sister (Katherine).
- Father was a four-year starter on the Holy Cross men’s ice hockey team, and also played two seasons of varsity lacrosse.
- Aunt, Meredith Murphy Kempf, swam at Holy Cross.
- Majoring in Chemistry.
