CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's rowing team continued its spring schedule on Saturday with a matchup against Bucknell and MIT.
"I'm happy with how our crews are putting races together despite our late start this season," said head coach
Andrea Landry. "It was a great opportunity to race two Patriot League peers this early, and we walked away with a lot of useful information. Looking ahead, there's a lot of energy to keep connecting the dots and dialing in our speed combinations as we prepare for the Knecht Cup. Shoutout to Bucknell for their strong performances across the board, and thanks to MIT for hosting a great day of racing on the basin!"
The varsity 8+ finished third with a time of 7:03.019, while the second varsity 8+ finished second with a time of 7:23.954, ten seconds ahead of second-place MIT.
The third varsity 8+ finished second with a time of 7:43.915, and the varsity 4+ finished third with a time of 8:22.583.
Holy Cross will travel to Cherry Hill, N.J. for the Knecht Cup on April 11 and 12.
