WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's rowing team raced at home for the third straight week, facing MIT, Rhode Island and Sacred Heart on Lake Quinsigamond.
In the varsity eight, Rhode Island finished first in a time of 6:51.410, followed by MIT (6:56.674), Sacred Heart (7:09.774) and the Crusaders (7:18.626).
Rhode Island also won the second varsity eight in a time of 7:08.500, with MIT taking second (7:11.104), Sacred Heart coming in third (7:31.048) and Holy Cross finishing fourth (7:37.676).
The Crusaders won the third varsity eight (7:56.100), with MIT coming in second (7:59.004) and Sacred Heart taking third (8:52.771).
In the varsity four, Rhode Island finished first in a time of 7:49.040, followed by MIT (8:20.711), Sacred Heart (8:28.369) and Holy Cross (8:37.283).
Following the races, the Crusaders honored the senior members of the crew in a special ceremony. The Holy Cross seniors are
