The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team returns to Kuzniewski Field this Tuesday, March 1, when it plays host to Brown at 5:00 p.m.
Things to Know About the Crusaders (1-2):
• Holy Cross stands 1-2 so far this year, coming off a 13-7 setback at Harvard last Tuesday.
• During the Harvard game, senior
Jolie Creo totaled three goals and one assist while recording her second hat trick of the year. On the season, she now leads the team in scoring with 11 points on eight goals and three assists. Over the course of her collegiate career, Creo has totaled 89 goals and 29 assists for 118 points in 33 games played.
• Senior
Jordyn Arakelian currently stands second on the team in scoring with six points on three goals and three assists. She tallied a goal and two assists against UMass Lowell, after recording one goal and one assist against Fairfield. Over the course of her collegiate career, Arakelian has now posted nine goals and eight assists for 17 points in 17 games played.
• Sophomore
Lauren Drillock has scored four goals so far this year, the second most on the team. She netted two goals in both the UMass Lowell and Fairfield games. In six career games played, she now has six goals and one assist for seven points.
• Arakelian and Creo are joined by seniors
Lauren Cunning,
Grace Flink and
Margaret Mitchell as the Crusaders' captains this season.
Scouting the Bears (1-2):
• Brown has a 1-2 record on the season, and is coming off a 15-9 loss to No. 1-ranked Boston College on Saturday.
• Senior Claire Jeschke currently leads the team in scoring with 11 points on four goals and seven assists.
• Senior Erin Tucker has played every minute in goal for the Bears this year, posting a 12.67 goals against average with 33 saves.
Series History:
• Brown owns a 20-2 lead in the all-time series between the schools, including six straight victories.
• The Crusaders and the Bears last met on March 3, 2020, when Brown posted a 14-11 victory in Providence.
