The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team returns to action on Tuesday, Feb. 22, when it travels to Harvard for a 5:00 p.m. game.
Things to Know About the Crusaders (1-1):
• Holy Cross stands 1-1 so far this year, and is coming off a 13-6 victory over UMass Lowell on Friday.
• During the UMass Lowell game, senior
Jolie Creo totaled four goals and one assist. On the season, she now leads the team in scoring with seven points on five goals and two assists. Over the course of her collegiate career, Creo has totaled 86 goals and 28 assists for 114 points in 32 games played.
• Senior
Jordyn Arakelian currently stands second on the team in scoring with five points on two goals and three assists. She tallied a goal and two assists against UMass Lowell, after recording one goal and one assist against Fairfield. Over the course of her collegiate career, Arakelian has now posted eight goals and eight assists for 16 points in 16 games played.
• Sophomore
Lauren Drillock has scored four goals so far this year, the second most on the team. She netted two goals in both the UMass Lowell and Fairfield games. In five career games played, she now has six goals and one assist for seven points.
• In the UMass Lowell game, senior
Grace Flink made a season-high 11 saves while allowing just six goals for a .647 save percentage. During her Holy Cross career, she now owns an 8-8 record with a 11.38 goals against average, 159 saves and 42 ground balls.
• Arakelian, Creo and Flink are joined by seniors
Lauren Cunning and
Margaret Mitchell as the Crusaders' captains this season.
Scouting the Crimson (0-1):
• Harvard has an 0-1 record on the season, after falling to Colorado 12-6 in its opener on Sunday.
• Sophomore Callie Hem scored a team-high three goals for the Crimson against the Buffaloes.
• Sophomore Chloe Provenzano made 10 saves in the Colorado game while allowing 12 goals.
Series History:
• Harvard owns an 11-1 lead in the all-time series between the schools, including three straight victories.
• The Crusaders and the Crimson last met on March 22, 2016, when Harvard posted a 13-3 victory in Worcester.
