WORCESTER, Mass.— The Holy Cross field hockey team will welcome the Bryant Bulldogs to Hart Turf Field on Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT HOLY CROSS (2-3, 0-1 PL):

• The Crusaders are coming off a 7-2 loss at Bucknell in their Patriot League opener. Senior Caitlin Little scored both goals for Holy Cross, marking her first career multi-goal game.
• Freshman Meggan Fourie, junior Sinead Walsh and Little all lead the Crusaders with five points each.
• Holy Cross is looking for its second straight win at home after defeating Sacred Heart, 1-0, in its home opener.

SCOUTING BRYANT (0-8, 0-0 NEC):

• The Bulldogs are still searching for their first win of the season after dropping their first eight contests.
• Bryant most recently fell to Vermont, 4-2,  a common opponent with the Crusaders.
• Taryn Rauff leads the Bulldogs with four goals and eight points, while Lotte Guitink has posted a team-high two assists.
• Marijn Jaarsma has played every minute in goal for the Bulldogs.

LAST TIME THEY MET:

• The Crusaders are 4-5 all time against the Bulldogs, however Holy Cross has won the past three meetings.
• The two teams last met in 2019, where Holy Cross won 2-1 in overtime.
• Keely Smith notched a goal and Sinead Walsh posted an assist in the last meeting between the two squads.
