WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross field hockey team has received the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Team Award, the organization announced Tuesday.
In order to be eligible for the award, programs must be coached by NFHCA members and have posted a grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale for the 2025 fall semester. Holy Cross recorded a 3.59 GPA in the fall.
Holy Cross was one of six Patriot League schools to be recognized, and one of 60 teams in Division I to earn the honor. It is the latest academic honor for the Crusaders, who had 21 student-athletes named to the Fall 2025 Patriot League Academic Honor Rol
l and 17 named to the NFHCA Division I Academic Squad.
