WORCESTER, Mass.— Holy Cross volleyball head coach Kathleen Colpoys has announced the team's incoming freshmen class. The incoming class of 2025 consists of Sarah Stokes, Rian Millership, Megan Wahrmund, Lauren Halverson, Abbie Lane and Mia Hofacker.

"We are so excited to welcome the class of 2025 to our HCVB family," remarked Colpoys. "Due to the many impacts of COVID-19 this recruiting process was unlike any other. Through the unique recruiting process each member of this incoming class exhibited resiliency and a deep desire to add value at Holy Cross on the court, in the classroom and the broader campus community."

Sarah Stokes | S | Boca Raton, Fla. | Saint Andrew's School

• Played four years of varsity volleyball at Saint Andrew's School under head coach Dawn Jones
• Team captain during junior and senior seasons
• Named to the Under Armour All-American Watchlist in 2020-21
• Earned South Florida Sun Sentinel Volleyball All-Palm Beach County Honorable Mention honors
• Played club for Tribe Volleyball Club under head coach Annika Barnwell
• Helped team to a third-place finish at the AAU Championship in 2020

Rian Millership | MB | New Braunfels, Texas | New Braunfels

• Played three years of varsity volleyball at New Braunfels under head coach Heather Sledge
• Named All-District First Team in 2020
• Academic All-District election from 2018-2020 and Academic All-State in 2020
• Played club volleyball for Austin Skyline Juniors 18 Royal Team under head coach Jenny Luke

Megan Wahrmund | OH/DS | Fredericksburg, Texas | Fredericksburg

• Three-year varsity volleyball player at Fredericksburg under head coach Jason Roemer
• Named team captain during her senior season
• Academic All-District honoree in 2018 and 2019, while also being named Academic All-State in 2020
• First Team All-District selection in 2019 and 2020
• Played club volleyball for the SA Force under head coach Evan Case

Lauren Halverson | MH | Kansas City, Mo. | St. Teresa's Academy

• Played varsity volleyball at St. Teresa's Academy under head coach Lauren Adair
• Missouri Honorable Mention All-District in 2020
• Played club volleyballer Adidas Team Dynasty Volleyball 18-Black under head coach Cassandra Rockers

Abbie Lane | MB/OH | Weatherford, Texas | Weatherford

• Played three seasons of varsity volleyball at Weatherford under head coach Nicholas Gay
• Named team captain during the 2019 and 2020 seasons
• Set the Weatherford single-season kills record as a junior in 2019
• Surpassed 1,000 career kills and set the new career kills record as a senior in 2020
• Helped team to an undefeated season as district and area champions in 2020
• A three-time District 3-6A First Team selection and MVP in 2020
• AVCA Region 4 All-Region Team selection and AVCA Under Armour All-American Nominee in 2020
• Played club volleyball for Texas Advantage Volleyball under head coach Jonathan Daclison
