Dellacono hit .305 in his shortened rookie campaign, starting all 15 games for the Crusaders primarily as a second baseman and outfielder. His slugging percentage of .492 ranked second on the team as he recorded eight doubles, a home run and 10 RBI.
His eight doubles were the most in the Patriot League, ranking 15
th among all Division I players and third among all freshmen in Division I.
Dellacono's first collegiate hit was a two-run home run at the University of South Carolina on Feb. 15; beginning with that game, he reached base in 10 consecutive games, the longest reached-base streak by a Crusader in 2020.
He was named the
Patriot League Rookie of the Week on March 10 after hitting .385 with five doubles in six games against CSU Bakersfield and UC Riverside.
Dellacono is the first Crusader to earn Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American honors since
