The Holy Cross baseball team has received the 2025-26 American Baseball Coaches Association's Team Academic Excellence Award presented by Sports Attack, the organization has announced. This is the ninth straight year that the Crusaders have received the award.

In order to be eligible for the award, programs must be coached by ABCA members and have posted a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the entire 2025-26 academic year. Holy Cross recorded a 3.35 cumulative GPA across both the fall and spring semesters. 

Holy Cross was one of two Patriot League teams recognized out of nearly 500 collegiate programs that were honored. It is the latest academic honor for the Crusaders, who had 26 student-athletes named to the 2025-26 Winter/Spring Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
 
The American Baseball Coaches Association has a long tradition of recognizing the achievements of baseball coaches and student-athletes. The ABCA/Rawlings All-America Teams are the nation's oldest, founded in 1949, and the ABCA's awards program also includes the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Awards, the ABCA/ATEC Regional & National Coaches of the Year and several other major awards such as the ABCA Hall of Fame and the Dave Keilitz Ethics in Coaching Award.
