WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross will play a mid-week game at UMass Lowell to on Feb. 19 at 6:00 p.m. It will be the first meeting between the Crusaders and River Hawks since 1989. 
Quick Sticks
• Holy Cross played their first road game of the 2019 season at Vermont. Despite a comeback effort, the Crusaders narrowly fell, 9-7. 
• Rookie Will Spangenberg leads the team in points with four (3-1-4). He posted a three-point game at Vermont with two goals and one assist. 
Sean Mullaney scored two goals and added an assist on Feb. 16, for a three point performance. 
Matt Farrell leads the team with nine ground balls so far on the season. 
• In two games played, eight Crusaders have netted goals on the season. 
• Holy Cross has recorded 35 successful clears on the season, with a clear percentage of .833.
'OC' at the X
Dan O'Connell set a new career high at the X, winning 16 of 18 faceoffs and picked up 11 ground balls. 
• O'Connell's single game winning percentage checked in at .888. 
• Saturday's performance earned O'Connell the Patriot League's Faceoff Specialist of the Week. O'Connell is the first Crusader to win the weekly award in program history. He is also the first Crusader to claim a weekly award since 2017. 
Scouting UMass Lowell
• The River Hawks opened their season on Feb. 9 against Quinnipiac and won, 12-10. Lowell has not seen game action since opening the season. 
• Daniel Cozzi leads the team with five assists on  the season. Harry Morrill scored three goals against the Bobcats to lead the team in scoring. 
• Liam McDonough and Cam Hult each recorded five ground balls to lead the team. Six different players recorded two caused turnovers so far. 
• Hunter Braun has played all 60 minutes for Lowell and made six saves for a .375 save percentage.

• The Crusaders will return to action when they host Harvard on Feb. 26. at 4:05 p.m.
