ANNAPOLIS, Maryland – The Holy Cross women's track and field team finished in sixth place out of 10 teams on the final day of the Patriot League Indoor Championship on Sunday, February 17. The Crusaders totaled 43.66 points on the weekend.

Sophomore Sydney McDonald placed third in the high jump with a personal-best 1.65 meters to lead the Crusaders on Day Two. Sophomore Abbie Mokwuah was fourth in the shot put, with an ECAC-qualifying throw of 13.53 meters.
Junior Morgan Sanders placed seventh in the finals of the 60 meter hurdles, finishing in 9.12 seconds. Senior Lauren Rasmus scored in the 500 meters, placing seventh in a personal-best 1:16.51. Freshman Kelsey O'Hara had a personal-best in the same event, finishing in 12th in 1:18.21.
Senior Alexandra Curtin was eighth in the finals of the 60 meter dash, clocking in at 7.88 seconds. Freshman Eva McCool-Guglielmo also earned an eighth-place finish, jumping a personal-best 11.43 meters in the triple jump. Junior Taylor Gensler was right behind her, placing ninth with a leap of 11.24 meters.
Sophomore Marina MacKinnon finished in ninth place of the 800 meters after running a personal-record 2:14.91. Junior Caroline Frey ran a personal best of 58.90 seconds in the 400 meters, placing 12th overall. Freshman Emily Koufos had a PR of 3:01.14 in the 1,000 meters, placing 13th. Sophomore Elizabeth Graves also ran a personal-best 10:25.82 in the 3,000 meters in a 20th-place finish.
Rasmus, Frey, O'Hara and freshman Milly O'Brien placed fifth in the 4x400 meter relay, running a time of 3:54.99. Maynard and MacKinnon teamed up with junior Allison McArdle and freshman Sophia Maynard to place eighth in the distance medley relay, finishing in 12:27.82.
The Crusaders will return to action on Sunday, February 24 at the Boston University Last Chance Meet.
