Three from women’s track and field named to CSC Academic All-District Team

Senior Celia Kulis and juniors Grace Ryan and Grace Ryan of the Holy Cross women's track and field team were named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team announced by the organization on Tuesday, June 23.

Kulis, a psychology major, posted a 3.71 cumulative GPA through the spring semester of her senior year. She earned recognition on the 2026 Academic All-Patriot League Team and was also named to the First Team All-Patriot League.

Kulis became the first Patriot League women's heptathlon champion in school history, resetting her previous program record with 5,171 total points in the event on May 15-16. She placed first in the 100m hurdles (13.66) and shot put (12.59m), placed second in the 200m (25.14), third in the long jump (5.55), fifth in the high jump (1.57m), sixth in the javelin (31.92m) and ninth in the 800m (2:34.23) to win the gold medal.

Kulis also received the bronze medal in the 100m hurdles, clocking a final time of 13.78. Her prelim time of 13.47 set a new program for Holy Cross as well as a new facility record at Navy's Ingram Field.

Ryan, an economics and psychology double major, posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.98 concluding the spring of her junior year.

Ryan placed fourth in the javelin (42.78m) at the Patriot League Championships. She also reset her program record in the javelin after posting a mark of 46.95m at the Raleigh Relays (Mar. 26)

Ryan was just the fifth Crusader in program history to represent Holy Cross women's track and field at the NCAA East First Round, and the first to do so since Christa Jay Moore '21, who competed in the pole vault in 2019 and 2021.

Sachs, an accounting major, posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.80 concluding the spring of her junior year.

Sachs earned the bronze medal in the pole vault (3.80m) at the Patriot League Indoor Championships (Feb. 28) and won the event (3.77m) at the NEICAAA Championships (3.77m, Mar. 6)
