After a scoreless first half, Olivia Venezia would put Holy Cross ahead when she intercepted a pass in the third quarter, drove hard into the circle, and unleashed a backhanded shot that beat Colgate's Anna Unger in goal.
The Crusaders would double their lead late in the fourth when Sinead Walsh found a streaking Minke Koomen who took a one-touch shot from five yards out and lifted it over Unger to seal the victory.
